F-1 Visa Done Simple
Program & SEVIS Approval
Baptist University of Florida offers SEVIS-approved residential and hybrid programs. As an F-1 student, you must be physically present at your designated campus(s) according to your program’s requirements.
To issue your I-20 and confirm your visa eligibility, residential and hybrid students must submit proof of legal U.S. residency via one of these official documents:
- Passport (preferred)
- National Identification Card
- Driver’s License (if issued in your home country)
Online students studying remotely from outside the U.S. are exempt from verifying U.S. residency but must still provide proof of identity (passport, national ID, or driver’s license)

Campus Residency Requirements
- Graceville Campus: All international students enroll in courses on the Graceville campus.
- Miami Hybrid Residency: Select graduate STEM-related hybrid programs require a mandatory three-day residency on the Miami campus each term.
